Welcome to Organized in Chaos. I truly never thought I would hit the “GO” button on a blog, but here we are! For as long as I can remember I have had a true passion for organizing, cleaning, and tidying. However, living with undiagnosed ADHD made all of that entirely too difficult. I tried, failed, and tried again… and that went on for years. After my two beautiful babies were born and I was finally diagnosed with ADHD I started to organize, clean, and succeed in the midst of all of my chaos.

I took it a day at a time, learning what worked best for me and my family, what habits to create, what did not work, and even how to make what did work, even better.

Around here, we try our very best to live the natural, healthy, “crunchy” life – more often than not though, we end up a bit “scrunchy.”

From cleaning and organizing the kitchen, bathrooms, kids bedrooms, closets, to meal planning and taming toddlers (and husbands ?), I’m right there in the thick of it with you.

We currently reside in the Midwest and love every part of it. I have numerous health issues and I’m blessed enough to be a stay at home mama. My husband is a middle school teacher (SAINT) and has Epilepsy, and my son is a roaring almost three year old with some health issues, but will absolutely talk your ear off, name every dinosaur imaginable, and can hit the hell out of a baseball. My daughter is a little over one and is every bit as sassy as she is sweet and we love every ounce of her.

So, as you can see… I have A LOT going on over here. However, if I’m able to accomplish all of this organizing, planning, cleaning, and simplifying – I truly hope it brings you comfort in knowing that you can do it too!

My passion for organizing and cleaning has inspired me to try to help other mamas (or anyone, really!) to find simple, easy ways to organize their lives in the midst of their own chaos. My mama is my best friend and I get all of my passion for organizing and cleaning straight from her! I am thrilled to share my passion with you just as she did with me. I will be sharing tips, tricks, personal stories, inspiration, failures, ADHD moments, printables, etc. and I hope you will join me for the ride. Believe me when I say, if I can do it, so can YOU!
